It was an onset of a thunderstorm. Strong winds gushed through the windows and filled the floor with dust and dry leaves. I was frustrated to see the mess in my room caused by the weather and jolted towards the windows and door to shut it . That’s when I saw them. The grove of tall trees right outside my window. The same mighty wind brushed through them . Instead of being frustrated like me , they stayed and swayed. They swayed left to right in rhythm with the wind. Trees were not bothered by the strong wind, instead they turned the weather into a playdate. The trees seemed to enjoy the unannounced company and were dancing to it tunes.
The sight made me smile. The weather lost its might. I opened the window and embraced the wind. It was cool and refreshing. The same wind was now perceived differently. I was no longer frustrated. What was meant to break the trees, bowed before them . The trees took their power and used that opportunity and turned it into a joyful treat.
Lesson: It’s how you look at a problem. Life was never meant to be fair. There will be ups and downs in life. But it’s all about how you see them, face them and handle them. The trees stood strong on their ground and it was the wind that had to bend. Similarly, face your problems. Understand the lesson behind them. When you change your perspective about any situation, you will get out of it dancing and swaying .

Another one: During harsh summer days, few of my plants dried up. I couldn’t water it since I was out of town for a week. I was sad. I expected rain to do its job, but not a single drop for that week. Few survived , few dried. I thought it was survival of the fittest and the dried ones might had lost their will to fight. The dried plants stood there like lost hope. Still I watered every pot daily. Soon new leaves started sprouting from those old branches. These leaves were greener and stronger than before. It’s like they came back with more jolt , rigor and with a promise this time to out do everyone.
Lesson from nature: Universe let’s old things die so that something new can enter your life. Everyone at some point might have lost something; relationships, friends, jobs etc. This is not random. This cleanup is necessary to make space for something much stronger , beautiful and brighter. The key here is not to lose hope. I kept faith and watered those pots. The same way, keep watering your faith and the universe replaces the loss with something better.
Life gives us an opportunity to grow and learn our lessons through our issues/problems. All we need to do is change the way we look at it now.Happiness and sadness is temporary but the inevitable changes and growth is the way of life.
Whenever you feel frustrated , lost or lack motivation , then move no further , just look outside, mother nature is there to guide you
